Welcome to Woodview Church of the Nazarene. If you are new to our church we want to say thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in our church. On the right you will find the answers to some of the most commonly asked questions. If there is anything else we can answer for you please don’t hesitate to ask.

At Woodview, you’ll find that wherever you are and wherever you’ve been in your life; there are people here like you. You’ll find people who have been involved in church since childhood, and some who are coming to church for the first time. The one thing we have in common is that we are all recipients of God’s love.

So, wherever you are in your spiritual journey, we think you’ll find Woodview a safe place to grow and discover life transforming truths. Come join us as we seek to love God, love others, and serve the world.

When do you have your services?

• Sunday School - 9:30 am – for all ages
• Sunday Morning Worship - 10:30 am
• Sunday Evening Worship - 6:00 pm

We also have other activities that meet throughout the week.

Where are you located?

Woodview Church of the Nazarene is located at 1500 E State Rd. in Lansing Michigan. We are 2½ miles northwest of Eastwood Towne Center.  Directions

What can I expect when I come for the first time?

Whether you're single, married, single again, with or without children - you'll find people who are ready to welcome you just as you are and help you with any questions that you may have. As you worship with us at Woodview, you will experience a blended approach that embraces the foundational traditions of the past, while celebrating the newness and excitement of the present. We welcome everyone, no matter where you are in your spiritual journey.

Do you have childcare and activities for my children during your services?

We offer programs and activities for all ages on Sunday mornings during our Sunday School and worship service. Quality childcare is provided through our nursery for children ages birth through two, while also offering age appropriate programming for both preschool aged children, and elementary aged children through sixth grade.

What do you believe?

We are a Christian church whose beliefs are simple and Biblically based. For more information, jump to our About Us section and read our beliefs

Do I have to attend some kind of class before I can come to Woodview?

There is no class. Nothing to study. Just come as you are, whether it's in jeans or in a suit, whatever makes you comfortable. For those who have further questions about what we believe or would like to investigate what it means to become a member, we provide a class that is offered several times throughout the year.
